Suzuki V-Strom 1000 concept revealed

Suzuki has unveiled the V-Strom 1000 concept today, the near production ready bike is still being called a concept but looks like it could go into production within a year. Suzuki has officially confirmed the bike will be in production in 2014.

Ha, knew it, chasing the Ewan-and-Charlie market

That's a well overdue bike, but in a curious capacity though.  Since these bikes are essentailly tourers, I wonder why they didn't go to 1200 or higher.  Heck, just slap a Bandit 1250 lump in.  Sod that, just jack a Bandit 1250 up by 6" and put that stupid beak on it - it's just a styling exercise.

In production in 2014 fine!!,as a 1000cc when everyone else is on the way to 1300,it'll be dead in the water.

Good looking

I dunno about the capacity hike.. if everyone is building 1200cc bike, perhaps it's better to keep one in the gap. Anyway, a lot of the new adventure tourers look a bit ponderous. That one looks much better IMHO.
