Ducati boss not surprised Valentino Rossi rejected 2013 offer

Ducati boss Filippo Preziosi has admitted that he wasn’t surprised that Valentino Rossi rejected a multi-million pound offer to finish his MotoGP career with the Bologna factory. Not even the weight of support of new owners Audi could help Ducati persuade Rossi to sign a new two-year deal after a disastrous stint on board a factory Desmosedici. Having scored just three podium...

i wonder

those that say ducati don't have a race winning bike really have no idea if its not a race winning bike! how can you tell its not a race winning bike? hayden says its the best duke he has ridden , if that is so then how come the model of 2010 was winning races? not to mention 09 / 08 / 07!!!

words have been eaten!!!

" with development of the finicky Desmosedici not accelerating fast enough for the nine-times world champion."

its was'nt so long back we heard rossi saying how the desmo was "too much" of a handfull getting the power down out of corners, and now it"not accelerating fast enough, thats a term that has become untrue over the years as there is a big difference with the bike not being fast enough and not getting the power down as such, rossi and ducati = FAILURE. SIMPLE AS THAT.

Foggy...

Have you thought that maybe it is "not accelerating fast enough" due to it not being able to "get the power down out the corners" due to too many un-tamed horses??  It can have all the power in the world but if you cant get it to be useable power then it is wasted... It doesnt  accelerate as the back wheel is just spinning!! No traction means no drive!!! But you know that..

Ha, yeah...

The story is, of course, referring to the acceleration of the development of the Ducati as not fast enough for Rossi, not the Ducati's development of the acceleration... but it was a nice play on words.

ability riders, all at different skill levels, is a shotgun approach to make it a winning bike. I don't think Rossi would have left, with all the forthcoming cash and technology from Audi, if he thought there was a chance of next years bike being anymore than a sugar coated turd, with the risk that the Desmoditchit will spend most of next year in the gravel.

%m

In text art and with a little immagination, it's not too difficult to imagine  ..%m  as a sheep.

While not as good as the classic  ..%(,,,,);  it's not far off is it?

Taking all this into consideration alongside Bennybubble's comment, you may be justified thinking..

How do you get a sheep in the middle of your rectum?

..is perhaps a question we should be asking him, as he's the expert?

oh and Rossi's mint btw..Preziosi is a fkin hebrew.
