WSB Magny Cours: Sykes win race two, Biaggi wins title by 0.5points

Tom Sykes did everything he could to wrestle the WSB crown away from Italian Max Biaggi, but was ultimately denied the title by just 0.5 points. In a tense finish to the 2012 WSB season, Biaggi finished in fifth place which was just enough to secure the big prize and his sixth world title and second WSB crown. Sykes said: “On...

C'mon matey..

You know what wosi's like, he's given plenty of credit to Casey's skills on a bike but maintains that isn't enough on it's own to be considered the legend some of his fans reckon he is, while sniping inanely at Rossi.

Like his fans, Stoner contradicts himself left, right and centre..he thinks he's clever but has no class off the bike.

wosi thinks this egotistical rod he's made for his own back, which accelerated his retirement plans, has been foolish and ill conceived bravado. He could have had 10 more years at the top. It's a waste.

I'll talk sense about bikes with pleasure, you just don't find much of it around here. Which is fine by me.

PS. Thanks for the link. I'll read it when I get back from the pub.

Well done Max

Great to see Biaggi take his second WSB title
Shame for Sykes but is it not strange how Melandri has not been mentioned.
He was the rider that could have easily taken the title but threw it away under pressure.

children bugger off to the proper thread if you want to bore others about rossi and stoner and wosihound please get a life apart from this forum.

Well done Corsaro.

The crown is decided over a whole season - Max had some bad weekends but did enough (just) to win the title and many congratulations to him. If you watched his post race interview he paid tribute to Tom and even hinted that his day will come which I'm sure it will. Yes, I'm a Max fan, he has been and still is a winner - possibly time to step aside now and spend time with his wife and kids but his record speaks for itself - he, Loris and Valentino are all bona fide legends of the sport.
