are we talking...

dry ice here? I read the story today and it seems to be a cocktail that they sold, not just a one off.Dry ice I think becomes a solid at -200*C so getting a lump of that inside your guts is likely to be the same as drinking molten lead.Alcohol abuse at it's stupidest.

WTF ? apparently it smokes and you have to wait till it stops smoking before you drink the cocktail, when it stops smoking it's --- safe

"Dry ice" cocktails

Unbelievable.  The shame is that anyone that scientifically illiterate should be allowed near equipment capable of making or producing any solid gas.

How could such a stupid idea get as far up the chain as the supplier, let alone implemented?   This is just simply unbelievable.   Yeah, sure - here's some little bottles of petrol, just splash them over yourselves - fun light display when set alight!

Jaegermeister

Not bad.  But Altmeister is smoother and sweeter.

Good alternative is Mummelmann (vulc - Aldi and Lidl sell this for 5 euros a bottle)

If you want it cold - sticking it in the freezer will be  the safer bet!
