Casey Stoner eager to assess injured ankle in Japan

Casey Stoner says it will be crucial to understand the strength and mobility in his injured right ankle as the Australian prepares for a much-anticipated return to MotoGP action in Japan this weekend. The Repsol Honda rider has missed the last three races after his right ankle suffered serious ligament damage in a high speed crash during qualifying for the Indianapolis...

Aye...

"everyone who heard him make that statement knew exactly what he meant "

Not everyone that heard him actually got the quote right never mind could know exactly what he meant... you have taken the meaning you want to. Of course, as Wosi says it was tongue in cheek... the guy had sheepishly come round to apologise for making a stupid error... he had every right to be far more pissed off than he actually was.

Wosi - "At the time he's just finished his final season at Ducati in which his talent outweighed his ambition to tame the Desmosedici and challenge for the title by crashing himself out of 5 races, within 6 laps of the start.."

So, in retrospect, you seem to be suggesting, having failed in his ambition to tame the Desmosedici & in any way challenge for the title for 2 seasons, & with no real displays of talent, that Stoner's tongue in cheek remark was correct. Having ridden the Ducati for 4 years Stoner couldn't possibly have known that at the time though could he? Maybe Olly's right!

Whatever... to me they're both brilliant riders... for me to question their comparative opinions of each other is fairly pointless.

"casey stoner eager to assess his injured ankle....

....so that he can cry off asap and flounce off home with a big fat cheque from HRC"

Why is anybody bothering with this loser. He's not in the title hunt and in a few races time he'll quit. Total non entity.

Do you actually read the shit you write before you post it corny? You've just plagiarised (look it up) my post, and then told ME to come up with something original. Have you any idea how fkn stupid that makes you look?

I'm not the only one to spot it either corny. Been getting some pm's about you from others. Seems you're about as popular as a dog turd in a lucky dip
