Last MCN Meet(s) of 2012 ? 21st Oct

Okay folks so you'd thought I'd forgot!

Not a chance , plans are to meet at Ponderosa

http://www.ponderosacafe.co.uk/ at 11ish .

Fingers crossed weather holds for the month although can't it be any worse than some of our 'Summer' days eh?

And just in case ,I thought about doing a meet at LadyBower

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ladybower_Reservoir at the same time !

I realise this is most unusual but I did promise a more Northern meet before the end of the year and to be fair you don't come to see me, you come to meet up with other MCNers . Loads of you know each other anyways so it's really just a date and time that Im proposing .

Mind you if the weathers a good 'un I could make the extra mileage to the Peaks !

I do hope some of you regulars can make this one and if you've never been before ,try it they're a good bunch and you will be made most welcome ,

Maxie x

I'm over in a couple of weeks.  You owe me a pint.  (Or do I owe you one?)

I've still got your number - or maybe I'll get to Matlock on 18th Nov, if anyone's around...  (but I'll probably be in my daughter's car!)

Well once again thank you all so much for turning up,battling through the sh*tty dank mist to sit toasting in the sun high up on the Horseshoe Pass .

It was great to catch up with you all ,and if you want we can do some more next year?

Ninja let us know when you're about and where ,maybe slip in a boozy evening if some folks fancy.

Sorry wse didn't get to meet up again

it was 158 miles back and apart from 30 miles or so from the meet it was cloud and rain on the way back, oh anfd had to stop for a suicide man wanting to jump off the motorway bridge.

The police officer trying to coax him down looked right naffed off:shock:
