Cal Crutchlow believes he faces a tough task to challenge for the podium in Sunday’s Japanese MotoGP clash at the Twin Ring Motegi. Hard braking points dominate the Honda-owned circuit, and it has been braking that has been a weakness of the British rider in his second premier class season with the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 squad. "I am expecting a difficult weekend."

No bullsh*t from Crutchlow (for once) - only 9th fastest in FP2. That's not very promising.

No Richard..I'm with you my mate.

What a magnificent gesture to our glorious leader, for you to time your last comment so those numbers come up at just gone a quarter to one in the morning.

Brilliant..and if people don't start towing the Rossi line around here a bit more, we're gonna hand a few bitch slappings out..

The thing is

Dovi is at the height of his powers and is never really likely to challenge for a championship, whereas Cal is only gonna get faster for the next few seasons. Look at the huge improvment he's made between his first and second season. To be running Dovi so close, and on occasion beating him at this stage is very promising for the future. Dovi's future? A Ducati contract followed by a P45.
