The Spaniard trails factory Yamaha rival Jorge Lorenzo by 33-points with four races remaining, but the title chase could get another twist with Stoner returning from injury for this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix at the...

Agree GYTR

I guess HRC share the ethos. No team orders ! Dani Pedrosa concurs.

7 or so hours to FP1. Look forward to it.

Get real

Considering the history and demeanour of Casey and Dani you would have to be a moron or a troll to claim that either rider will follow team orders.

But there are no morons or trolls here, are there?

Anyway - without a Jorge DNF it will be entirely a moot point, so why bother foaming at the mouth about something completely hypothetical.

The season's getting more exciting

Team orders won't work.  Casey won't comply & Pedrosa won't want a title that Stoner gifted him.  Honda can't even knobble Stoner's bike a bit to slow him down cos they really need Pedrosa 1st & Stoner 2nd in every race.  Remember when Eddie Irvine's pit crew 'accidently' brought him only 3 wheels at a pitstop losing him the F1 championship when Schumacher had said he'd quit if Irvine won?

At the same time Yamaha will be giving the Tech 3 team 2 quick bikes hoping they can take 2nd & third behind Lorenzo to give him a buffer. 'Lucky' Spies might mix it too if nothing falls off his bike.

The rest of the season should be worth watching.

I've never really been a huge fan of Stoner only because he comes across as a whinger but I have the greatest respect for him for his incredible skill & commitment in every corner of every lap & doing what he thinks is best for him regardless of money etc.

I will miss the wee bugger next year.

is on a mission, he's as determined and focused as he's ever been, he'd got the measure of Casey, before his crash, it's just a matter of Stoner or Lorenzo for 2nd, and I think Stoner is going to want that pretty bad.
