... I wasn't aware that printing Crutchlows 'continued upward curve' was Cal bashing - merely trying to enlighten the poor sods who watch the BBC coverage of MotoGP.

I don't think highlighting Cal's 'continued upward curve was at all your intention!   However now you've mentioned it ..............      Dovi's 'continued downward curve' will take a sudden plunge next year on the Ducati.

Not the VJ22, not being a full affectionado I got my prefixes wrong :( The first bike I ever went on the back of was a Z1, I was 7 and it was probably great although as I had my eyes shut for most of it I can't be sure.

Saturn, I wonder if Crutchlow was slim and lithe - instead of being chunky/thick-set, would he have made it to the finish?

Sadly, we'll never the answer to that perhaps?
