Motegi MotoGP: Danny Kent ecstatic after maiden win

Danny Kent hailed his stunning maiden Grand Prix victory in Japan yesterday as ‘amazing’ after he triumphed at the end of a dramatic Moto3 clash. The British teenager went from fifth to first on the final lap after Luis Salom wiped out Jonas Folger with a reckless overtaking move at the first corner. That put the 18-year-old third and he then passed...

In tangling with Tonucci, Cortese cheated us of what could have been an even closer finish... he owes that lad a big apology for destroying his chance of a 1st win when all he was worried about was his points & finishing on the podium... then he had the cheek to say that they should have respected his position in the championship!... respect, like a race win has to be earned... Cortese left the door wide open & didn't deserve to win... after that move & this outburst he has lost a lot of the respect he might otherwise have earned.

I'm glad Danny came out on top... he was the class act of the weekend... well done.

Yes Danny!!

Great ride, great win. Must admit I thought he'd blown it with a lap to go.

Love those Moto 3 guys, nutters all of em. Be interesting to see how Cortese gets on next year, not sure his bully boy tactics are going to work on the likes of Espargaro, Redding, Zarco, Corsi, DeAngeles etc.

Sandro

Sandro behaved like a 2@ and he will look back and realise this quite soon. If he has the balls, he might apologise to Danny quite soon

Flakey..

I think he has apologised, on twitter. One would presume he's done so in person as they're team mates.

Good onya Danny.

Funny how once the pressure and stress of sorting your future out is gone, it seems to lift a weight from the shoulders and better results come..mind you, doesn't seem to have done Stoner much good this year, has it?

Bad example maybe..Casey is a notorious choking wobbler.

Great result , worth staying up to watch . Imagine the support he'd get if he was welsh?

There's no such thing as team mates    only team rivals.   First rule of the team 'beat yr team(mate) rival.

Look at Rossi and Lorenzo   nothing matey there only rivalry.   Stoner gets one more race at Sepang before PI can't see him getting his Swansong win can you ?

.... we both know why my profile is sadly hidden - don't we?

And so 'thanks' but 'no thanks'.
