... it doesn't matter anymore because if what I hear about Vinales is correct, then Cortese has only got to finish ahead of Salom to become champion.

They're racers, it's a race. They all want to win it. If someone winning it prevents another rider from winning the championship then tough and so what. That someone has every right to try to win whether they are in championship copntention or not.

Like I've said before, no merit in having wins handed to you.
