Crescent Suzuki boss Paul Denning has spoken of his extreme disappointment over Sylvain Guintoli’s decision not to honour a signed contract to ride for his team in WSB 2013. As reported in MCN last week, Guintoli signed a contract with the Fixi Crescent Suzuki team on Sunday at Magny Cours, only to tell Denning on Monday morning that he had been...

Laverty has a contract for next year.

Max hasn't confirmed he'll be riding but if he does, and he's testing this week at Aragon, there won't be another factory seat available.

Sylvain may have cut his nose off to spite his face.

Contract ?

If indeed PD does have a signed contract with SG then he will be able to hold him to that contract, not that he'd necessarily want him on his machinery anymore but simply to stop him riding for another team, unless of course they buy him out of the "existing contract" if it actually exists, with half a brain PD could easily control this situation to his liking.

Get it right Supermario..

And Leon Camier is in a more informed position than Sylvain, which was my point. Riders get messed around all the time by teams thats absolutely correct, Scott Redding the latest example, but not AFTER they have signed a contract - then they are laughing all the way to the bank. And once a rider signs a contract with a team then the rider should similarly honour that contract.

As for Paul Denning, he is being incredibly good not hauling Sylvain into court and enforcing the contract, which, of course, he has every right to do.

What kind of contract is that? Verbal, shook upon and signed then he reneged a day later! I think the phrase "Not worth the paper it's written on" is very apt here if all Denning will do is whine.
