Scott Redding on front row in Phillip Island

British rider Scott Redding will start tomorrow’s Australian Moto2 Grand Prix from the front row of the grid after he qualified his Marc VDS Racing Kalex machine in second place. The Gloucestershire teenager clocked a best time of 1.34.264 in a rain-hit session to secure his sixth front row start of the season. Redding will start sandwiched in between Spanish title contenders...

Top Scott

Brilliant qualifying session from Scott, a few scary moments, but that doesn't faze him, he's really dialled in and committed, I'd just love to see him win it.

Sir 'B' !!!!!!, as usual, an under achiever, he had his chance along with the likes of Redding etc., to get some good times in, instead he's dicking around between 7th & 10th, then goes out on a damp track, and bins it, and ends up 15th, and with only 2 races to go before, he sticks his sorry arse on that M1, for 2 years !!!!, what a waste of a ride.

Brave Bradley ...

... broken toes, an unlucky (very high speed) crash in changing conditions on a French snail and still less than a second behind Redding.

Smith will earn another Top 6 finish tomorrow - not so sure about Redding though.

Behave yourself Rev, 'broken toes' you mean 'broken dreams'. Didn't you know Herve was calling to get that Wallaby off the track, as when he put the stop watch on it, it was lapping 0.5 sec quicker than Sir 'B', lol, don't worry though, we've only got to suffer the embarrasment at PI tomorrow, and then Valencia.

Oh, shit, we can really hang our heads down after that, I forgot, MotoGP!!!! testing, that's why Herve has ordered an extra skip along with Ducati, lol.

Redding had better get a podium ...

... or else contemplate if he has a MotoGP future at all?

Reddings fast - but he's on the very best kit in one of the better funded teams, so he should be very fast.

The power/weight ratio excuse is wearing thin now, and he's had 3 years experience - but still, we're all hoping for just a rostrum finish.

There was no offer from Ducati after his test either.

Lets hope

it stays dry tomorrow and Scott can show his talent. Difficult days for Bradders on his Peugeot Speedfight but he's good for top 6 in the race and will once again take the ageing Mistral way beyond its potential.

Valencia test not far away now, finally all the haters will be shown up for the  clowns they are.

Come on then MrKrabs, do you want a virtual tenner on this one, or double it for your forecast of a podium at Valencia for Sir'B' lol. I've got better hopes for the Wallaby tomorrow than Sir'B', but unfortunately he's going to have to start from pit lane, but if it's wet, I think he'll duelling with Sir'B' to get in the top seven, lol.

As you have it in for Smith yet again - you're almost on a par with Hugelean and his Stoner rantings - would you like to comment on Redding's performance last week?

TOSSER

Cornbowl your a Tosser with a capital T. These lads go racing week in week out including Bradley Smith. They risk serious injury if they fall and all you can do is slag  some of these heroes of. Shame on you. If you dont like Smith then just say so , but dont keep on critisising his ability on a bike because he has got more riding ability in his shit than you have in your entire body. your just another arm chair racer who is bitter because you cant do it

One of the best

Scott Reading Has relly gone up in my estimation this season. his power to wieght ratio is poor on the 600 yet he still gets really good results. He has got to be one of the best riders around. Would love to see him in WSB
