Cal Crutchlow third as Jorge Lorenzo lifts MotoGP crown

Cal Crutchlow gave himself an early 27th birthday present in Phillip Island this afternoon to claim his second premier class podium in an Australian Grand Prix that saw Jorge Lorenzo clinch a second MotoGP world title. Crutchlow celebrates his 27th birthday tomorrow (Monday) and he won’t be the only one partying in Australia after factory Yamaha rider Lorenzo finished second to...

Ah well

Understandable, as you have no basis for sound argument against them

Cornball ...

... Soup's was merely suggesting that the current situation is unworkable.

Riders can, for instance, take a severe blow to the head in FP1, and still be passed fit to ride on Sunday - to who's benefit?

Some intelligent folk can be badly mis-understood - perhaps you just didn't understand what SM was trying to say?

Well BCB

that a badly injured rider on a 250 BHP missile might pose a safety problem to himself and those around him.

You mean pose more of a danger than some yellow flopsy travelling so slowly on a 250bhp missile that he might take one up the rear by something travelling a little faster.....??

Come on Rev, behave, that rent boy delighted in hammering it home, regarding Stoner's condition. You know as well as I do, anyone who suffers a blow to the head, or are unconcious, they don't ride, Stoner had a leg injury What did Lorenzo have back in 250's, injuries to both feet/ankles, and was on crutches, it didn't stop him from riding. they're paid to ride, they're not footballers, Michael Rutter rode with a broken collar bone and other one pinned. The Doctors in MotoGP are more than capable of knowing whether a rider is good to go or not. If you want to stick up for that little 'rent boy' you can do, it's just his hormones, because he's got to change his Casey Stoner Duvet now, and he doesn't know who to put on it next.

... I'm sorry but I can't agree - Soup's right.

Look at Crutchlow with his double dislocated, broken ankle at Silverstone and then Stoner with his detatched foot at Indy - just an oversize Alpinestar wagging in the wind?

No.

Both were very fortunate to avoid further, and far more serious, injury.

Yeah yeah, we get you're playing on the arrogant theme. The only thing you meant was to be contrary, as most girls do from time to time

Now stop being naughty, the day you actually share an opinion with maid marion or Buel, Rossi will be first over the line on a Ducati

...No, I didn't mean that either - you're just being presumptuous again (and condescending).
