Early mistake ends Dani Pedrosa’s title bid

proud... and nothing to show?

Mr Pedrosa, you rightly say you are proud of your team  - rightly so, its been (Honda HRC) the the best bike on the grid since Doohan's time - PERIOD!! Rossi was sublime on it, even Hayden and Moaner have won a championship on it. 7 seasons on it and you feel proud of your performance !!!! dont think Marquez will take that long before we see a trophy. Pedrosa is a very lucky boy indeed to have had that much time on it with nothing to show.........

Seriously? You bealive that? Pedrosa has rarley ever finished outside of the top three in the Motogp Standings. Has shown his ability to come back from injury and has always been a consistant rider for Honda. There is a bloody good reason beyond sponsorship he has his ride. Whatever you think of Pedrosa he is the only rider to have kept the title fight alive this year and is possibly the best rider ever NOT to have won a world title in MOTOGP. Next year with no Stoner it will again be a fight between himself and Jorge. So please have some respect these guys put their balls on the line for your entertainment.

Hmmm... both Honda factory riders had crashes when pushing hard for wins... JL didn't... why?... both factory riders complaining repeatedly of problems with chatter which they still haven't solved. Stoner on the Honda was only 7.8 secs faster than his race time than he did on the CF 800cc Ducati 2 years ago in almost identical conditions... that's less than a 3rd of a second faster per lap than he was on the worst bike on the grid (with which time he would still have got pole & won this GP). An interesting perspective.

BCB - cross dresser

Rev, of course you've got lots of frocks, but they're mostly pink, frilly and low cut at the back, and they're not going to suit Dani at all.

A silly school-girl error ...

... by Pedrosa on lap 2.

Going in hard with cold rubber normally ends in tears - I should know.

Mamola was a decent racer but not unknown for his crashes, he's been a prominent figure in MotoGP circles for years, he has also helped a lot of newcomers and been a good fund raiser, but imo, not in the same class as Dani, as a rider.

Randy finished runner up 4 times in the 500cc world championship on 4 different makes of machines albeit the cagiva was more for developement than winning. When dani proves his versatility on different make's of machine's I'll agree...I think next year may be a testing time for dani with marquez in the team, lets see if he can make it happen

I'm not taking anything away from Randy, but times were different in the 500cc era, as you well know. Dani, on the other hand, is from another era, these Spanish/Italian, young riders now, are 'products' more than individuals, they're owned by the factories. Dani, unlike in the 500cc era, is not going to get the chance to ride multi manufacturers machines at the highest level,  because Dani either stays where he is, or goes down, it's a simple as that. It's highly competetive, and extremely difficult to obtain a world championship, and this may have been the nearest he's going to get, but at present he's still one of the fastest riders in the world, imo.
