Valentino Rossi outpaced in Phillip Island

The forthcoming Valencia MotoGP test can’t come soon enough for Valentino Rossi after his penultimate appearance for Ducati in Australia yesterday proved to be another humbling experience. The Italian will be back on a factory Yamaha YZR-M1 at the Valencia test where he will begin the journey of trying to prove that at 33 he is still fast enough to fight...

'The vessel is now empty' ...

... that's a touch harsh don't you think?

I'm sure that Rossi will remain totally committed to Ducati for the next 12 or so days.

I've said it before CCB

the moral high ground sits ill with you.

What are you sniggering about SM? You been giggling over that picture of you with your cock out again? I agree it is laughable - in a multitude of tragic ways.

As for poor old Saturn. He thought he'd stick he oar in - for what purpose, who knows - least of all himself I should imagine. Never one of any substance, much like his eponymous planet - virtually all hot air.

Nighty night little bitches.

You Blue panted runt, got nothing to say about Stoner for Valencia, thought not, so now you and your girlfriends will be able to back each other up, you're already smelling of sheep to me, Soup's. So easily led arn't you, got rid of your badge yet, if not give Paul Gadd a ring he might be interested, in ya.

Cornball ...

... that last post was down to your usual standards - cheap, dirty and mean.

The thread is about Rossi - not Stoner. It's about wildly inaccurate rants by people who should know better. It's about back alleyway-boys using their fists.

Rev, you'd know all about that then wouldn't you, and stop keep grooming Maidmarion, he's already had a tough time as it is, perhaps you would like to keep answering his posts, as sort of a trusted guardian, with him being at such a tender age.

Buelly where are you

I've been away 4 hours and was looking forward to your views on why back to back titles are one of the hardest things to achieve and why they carry so much weight in the measurement of a rider's ''greatness''

Now you made the statement, so it's a genuine question of why you think it.

Avoid libellous posts - dangerous ground! Especially in the current climate.

Bulto ...

A lesson learned?

Good to see that you're not in the mood for making more arrogant, presumptuous statements. I can sleep easy tonight in my bed - unlike Cornballs who's 'making do' with his usual bus shelter.

Arrogance and presumption?

I'll leave that in your court as you seem to be doing the job for all of us tonight

The lesson I learned a long time ago was not to expect a reasoned, thoughtful response from Buel, backed up by fact or experience

I daresay we'll have the typically turgid ''I could tell you but I can't be bothered''
