Valentino Rossi outpaced in Phillip Island

The forthcoming Valencia MotoGP test can’t come soon enough for Valentino Rossi after his penultimate appearance for Ducati in Australia yesterday proved to be another humbling experience. The Italian will be back on a factory Yamaha YZR-M1 at the Valencia test where he will begin the journey of trying to prove that at 33 he is still fast enough to fight...

CCB...

Cheers... I do like a debate...

"The fact Stoner only came fourth in thev standing in 2010 behind Rossi, who had missed for rounds with a broken leg indicates to me the true level of how competitve the Ducati actually was."

Ah, yes both Rossi & Dani had their injuries to bear... but Stoner had his crashes to consolidate... on the Ducati he finished less races than either of them in 2010... he got that points tally with one less race finish tham either of them... & as I say that 1 extra race finish could have seen him actually beat the bike that came 2nd & went on to win the next championship... with Stoner on it of course.

Ultimately it came 1st, 2nd & then 4th 2 years in a row against far better machinery... then, interestingly, after Stoner had proved he had earned his Honda ride & the pressure was off he started winning again (though not without another crash)... make what you will of that.

BTW, some of your subsequent posts make quite good reading... others less so... (milkshake?)

Dick cheese?

well your would know about that wouldn't you our little sniffer of his own panties. Best not to second guess Nostro's motives. Let's just say one reason is to assist you in your masochistic self humiliation.  I lead, you follow. It's always been that way since day dot on here with you. Remember how uptight you used to get a couple of years ago?

Humour you say. You'd need to grow a funny bone for that to occur.

Same as I always have Barty Boy

Pedrosa. Through their sheer stupidity CCB & SM seem to think I supported Stoner with the same myopic religious zeal they do Rossi.

Although ultimately I just appreciate the skills on display of them all. That said our three (soon to be two, or back up to three with MM?) have that extra special something none of the others do.

Thankyou for your insight into Stoner, that wasn't too difficult was it, that was all I was asking for. Obviously, his off track activities, is what's attracting the Rev to him, no doubt they share their favourite colour, pink.

When rossi slings his leg over that M1 and runs around at the top of the time sheets with lorenzo and pedrosa i'll be looking out for your comments.

I'll second that, but you won't see old Nostrils's comments, because there will be a 90% chance, that he will be too busy trying to work out, how many percent of his endless posts regarding Rossi, he's got wrong. Bye bye Nostrils, after Valencia testing. I'd like to be the first to say, it's been great knowing him, but I was taught as a child, not to tell lies, hahahahahahaha.

My seven year old has superior mathematical skills to you. You've been thoroughly humiliated on the Stoner thread by all and sundry, and contrary to your dogmatic assertions you haven't the balls to admit just how wrong you are. Rossi acolytes - all the same - dense.
