Suzuki warned on MotoGP return plans

Suzuki has been told to forget plotting a MotoGP return unless it is willing to commit to running a new factory effort until the end of the 2016 world championship at least. The Japanese factory temporarily suspended its MotoGP project at the end of last season, citing the impact of the global economic crisis for its decision to withdraw. Suzuki management though...

'We don't need you' ...

Who the hell runs Suzuki??

It doesn't even make sense to do all that development and spend all that money to return for one year. If they return for a year, do f'k all, and withdraw how does that look?? If Suzuki wants to continue to things half ass then they need to stay away. It should be either all in or not at all.

Uncle Carmelo has this one right

Man up Suzuki. You're a global automotive titan printing money all over Asia.

They're very scared their product is going to let them down again aren't they. A shame given what Bautista was doing on their last 800 incarnation. That bike could've been a winner in the hands of one of our three Aliens.

Why bother !

I dont know why they would bother,Moto GP is a dying race series with only 3 manufacturers taking part & only 2 of those are competative.CRT is a joke ! Moto GP is at present a multi class series with 3 classes.

Class 1 - factory bikes

Class 2 - Sattelite bikes

Class 3 - CRT ( not a chance in hell of winning & only there to make up the numbers )

Suzuki should invest in WSB or Moto 2 instead untill the so called premiere class sorts its act out.

I am with Lorenzo99 they (Suzuki) should put their effort in the other racing classes WSBK Moto2 won't work as they race with Honda engines.

why not just do moto3??

Only a factory KTM team to contend with and the next best being the semi factory FTR-Hondas/Kalex KTM, the oral and mahindra dont seem to have a hope in heck of getting near the front. IMO this seems to be a cheaper route to glory than wasting millions developing a motogp bike only for it to fall through after a year....i tend to disagree with Uncle Caramel alot but this is probably one of his better points.....

jeez! sometimes you gotta wonder who are the muppets that run the suzuki race department..

way to go carmello you should bite the arm off from anyone who wishes to compete in what has become the sunday ride out series.

you know it's gone way down the wrong lines when F1 looks more interesting than any bik e race.

remove electronics get more bikes on the grid bring the racing closer look at bsb going from a second leg series to quite probably the best series there is

is to cheat, make it a 1200 and give it an italian name then get ducati on side and go for a bigger engine,
