Pot off today!

7 weeks after me accident. It hurts like buggery. These motobike racers who break bones in ther wrists then ride again after two weeks must be mental. I`m in freakin agony when I move it....7 weeks!!

Anyways, enough of me already......does any of you good people know of a front wheel for sale, (Marchesini) for my 996, Iv`e amassed 90% of the other bits I need for the rebuild while I`ve been off work, but haven`t found a wheel yet. I suppose everyone who hops off goes into the scenery front wheel first, well I did! The bloody things just fly to bits!
Well, back to work Monday and claw my way back from being scint I hope. £71 a week from the social, and thats with two children and a mortgage. How do these immigrants get all the cash? Buggered if I know.
Anyway, get thinking. Someone must know of a 5 spoke Ducati wheel lying around! I`m willing to pay what small amount of money I have left for a nice one. Maybe up to £350, but I want a nice tyre on it for that!

I bought a wheel today off the Bay. £300 mind, but only tyres, pegs and a pair if indicators left to get.

That will bring total spend, (been watching too much Channel 4)! to about £1200.
That and nearly two months off expensive day out I think. :upset:

Still. Ever onwards and upwards!!!:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Glad to hear you're getting better.

I wonder how some people do so well out of benefits. I certainly couldn't beat the system when I was once unemployed for a while. And I stupidly told the truth when I got a chance to work one day a week. Had no idea they stopped paying you altogether for 6 weeks while they figured it out.

Good luck with tracking down the last few parts, and try not to break anything in future. It sounds painful and expensive.
