btw

saw it last week .... thought it was pretty good - though not as good as all the hype.:winkie:

It was cool to see Glen Coe and the A82 (one of our favourite roads) putting in a brief appearance. :winkie:

Brit version.

No chimneys.
No chance of seeing this stunt in the Christmas Special then.

Lol! ...Now that would be a 'Corrie Christmas Special' worth watching !

Of course 'Skyfall' it's not the first time Bond has ridden bikes across rooftops - you might recall Pierce Brosnan doing it 'two up' on a BMW R1200C cruiser in Tomorrow Never Dies.

It's about time we saw Bond on a big sportsbike ..:winkie:...despite 23 films I don't think he has ever ridden one yet?

Got to be some mileage in it for a great chase/stunt scene.

Bond on a gixxer? - Now there's a thought? :smile:laugh:

Mr Bond was on a

Yamaha XJ650 Turbo in Never Say Never Again (although that admittedly wasn't one of the offial Bond films but a breakaway production based on a version of the Thunderball screenplay) and that was a little disguised, but I guess it was considered a big sports bike in the early eighties, supposedly the performance of a thou :unsure::hmmm:

Good point (although not quite what I was thinking of when I thought - big sportsbike)

The XJ650 Turbo

90 hp & 235 Kg's - We have come a long way since the 80's haven't we!

Yes...........

:hmmm: suspect the little red Renault 5 was also the turbo jobbie, think there may also be a motocross bike under the plastics in some shots  mind you, that rocket power accessory could be handy in some circumstances  Hmm, sporty bikes have come a long way....still could have been worse, could have been an XS1100
