No more CRT in MotoGP by 2014?

A grid of full-blown prototypes could contest the 2014 MotoGP world championship, ending the headache of how to slash the gulf in performance between factory bikes and production-derived CRT machinery. With only 12 factory bikes on the grid for 2012, the new CRT category allowed teams to tune production motors like Honda’s CBR1000RR and BMW’s S1000RR and run them in prototype...

Your a very BAD man...now leave the children here, alone and slither off to your lair in Wales and wait for another inquiry.  Back to the 'bikes, then.  Make the whole show CRT, if Honda,Yam etc want to turn up with factory racers, then they have sell bits to everyone else if they win. Keep the single tyre rule, but whoever makes em ,must test on a selection of machines...and no changing mid-season.

CRT's

At the beginning I was all for it, to make MotoGp more versatile and interesting, now I catch myself not even paying attention to CRT's anymore.

Not a good sign, as I am sure I am not the only one. More factory bikes on the grid in my opinion would defenitely be the way to go.
