Problems selecting Neutral .

I have a Yamaha RD350YPVS F2, which I am having a problem selecting neutral.

The problem is worse when the bike is up to normal working temperature.
I have some new clutch plates awaiting fitment and some new oil,(I'm hoping for an easy fix) but I feel the problem could need some more drastic medial action.
any ideas, Michael.

Gear selection problems

Check chain tension first, then that the adjustment of your clutch cable is OK and the mechanism is working OK.  After that you may see an improvement with an oil change.  If you still have a problem the next logical step would probably be to look at the selector forks.
