Valencia MotoGP: Pedrosa prevails with tyre change

Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa has won at Valencia today in tricky conditions which saw riders roll up to the grid on a mix of wet and slick tyres. With the track drying Pedrosa, Cal Crutchlow, Nicky Hayden and Alvaro Bautista opted to change from wets to slicks and start the race from pit lane. 2012 champion Jorge Lorenzo was the only...

Opinion - yes ... we've covered that

The Repsol Hondas are still getting varying degrees of chatter, but Dani seems to have found a way to ride around it and in these conditions it was more subdued than at other tracks.  The way he was reeling in Jorge was astounding and Dani was always going to win in those conditions.

Must have made him wonder "what if I never tried it" about his optimistic assault on King Casey at PI, but if truth be told Lorrenzo would never have been so impatient to pass Ellison if he only had to bank a top-5 ride at Valencia.

All in all a dramatic race with the podium contenders changing almost every lap.  When Casey finally decided to risk his ankle with slicks I thought he would be lucky to make the top 10,  Instead he gets to finish his career on the podium with his teammate, so with that and the win at PI he has made the most out of an otherwise disappointing season.  Let's hope he gets bored with tin cages and Dorna find the MotoGP Magic again.... we need more aliens!

Why Dani´s Honda chattered even willing (see the willie crossing line)?
How Nakasuga managed a podium ride in only one race, and Spies not  (in a season)?
Who imagined Rossi being humilliated as we seen on last race?
Where were blue flags?
Why AUS and VAL are the last races, when the weather conditions are shitty bad?
What happened on JLO´s mind when arrived to Ellison (and ruined the spectacle)?
