HOC members pay their respects

Along with hundreds of other bikers, HOC members from Oxford, Cambridge, Beds, North London, North Downs, Reading, Northants, MK and West London branches went to Duxford Museum on Remembrance Sunday. We went to pay our respects and do the very least we can, by simply standing together in silence for two minutes and remembering. Beautiful in its simplicity.

hoc

I like how all of the HOC people there are in touring textile gear, would I stand out in a picture like that being young, full white race leathers and riding a race rep?

I'm wondering if I'd ever see similar riders like me if I join any sort of club, but I have owned Honda motorcycles my whole life and been riding years, no cars even(working on my car licence at the moment!).

With recent developments, textiles have certainly taken a fair share of the market.

But if you want to join a club, of any sort, why should the gear you choose to wear prevent you from doing so. It's good to be different    ;-)

you can wear anything you want. most of us now wear goretex type gear, Leathers are good wear  in the better weather, not that we have much of that anymore, summers are wetter than before, so textile gear is mostly the norm.
