Poll: How to REALLY spice up MotoGP

Dorna has announced some concessions to the factories by scrapping CRT bikes in 2014 and ditching the idea of control rider aid software. But what do you think would REALLY spice up the spectacle, and turn MotoGP once again into a guaranteed great view? For today only, you're on the Dorna board and you've got five votes to cast in favour of...

Sorry, none of these are great ideas.

How's about teams are able to buy factory bikes or at least engines at a reasonable maximum cost, the engines being regulated for equality.  Then teams can build bikes to their own spec with factory engines, levelling the playing field.

Revert to 990's

The best racing was in the 990 era, return to those rules, with no rider aids, then we will see who the 'real aces' are

Laser tag built in and they have guns on one hand(but have to take the hand off to shoot)and detectors on shoulders, back and chest (turn around to shoot). The rider shot loses 15bhp for shoulder, 20 for back and 50 for chest lasting for ten seconds. The proper fun would come when they got 50bhp back mid corner. If they really wanted to save money they could do it on honda cubs (figures adjusted obviously) and it would still be fun to watch. You listening carmello you spanish twat.

Poor list

Other than everyone on the same spec bike it's a poor list and sidesteps the real issue of attracting teams to make the grid much larger and reducing the spending power of Honda and Yamaha so those new teams stand a chance. Long hand for "make it cheaper".

high-wear tires!!!

the racing action on full-wets in damp conditons is always great, why not just start with cut-slicks for dry-races?

SPEC ECU

it's worked in bsb to make the racing a hell of alot more interesting to watch.

no tc and a huge cost saving it works as bsb has proved certain bikes and riders work at certain tracks and every manufacturer seemed closer to winning everyone's happy

Never happen

Sadly it's nothing to do with entertaining racing, it's all about Corporate glad-handing and mutual back-scratching in the name of business. MotoGP will continue getting more boring (unless it rains), just like F1, the most expensive advertising procession in the world! If they wanted to make it more entertaining then they'd ban anything that didn't have an immediate spin-off for road bikes, so no carbon brakes, exotic short-lived tyres and super-tuned engines. Limit the fuel, one engine /gearbox per season, road tyres and steel brakes - simple.

I tell ya, i would never watch motogp again if they introduced ship to shore radio. F1 is so pompous with stuff like that that it makes me cringe. Limit engine size to 1000cc, open tyre manufacturers and scrap ALL rider aids, its the only way to go
