I live in Dorset not far from where this happened. Someone at my school who lived in Weymouth had his bike nicked and then torched. It's been going on for years and only now have the police taken any notice.

Horrible little bastards. Trouble is, there is no effective deterrent from the law these days, so no doubt the little shitbags will do it again. Perhaps summary justice will be meted out if one of them steals  a bike with non working brakes.......
