Looks ok but I hope it fuels better than the last model! I had an 2008 superduke and have to say it was the worst fuelled ( and thirstiest ) motorcycle I have ever owned! It was like an on/off switch, now I,ve been riding over 30 years and whilst I enjoyed the madness of the duke there,s no excuse anymore to release a bike which in my estimation was,nt right! you can blame emissions/noise laws all you want but it was,nt properly developed! Do,nt even mention power commanders or tune ecu as you should,nt have to sort that yourself after paying hard earned for your machine! A bit fiddly to service too as I recall. In the end I got rid of it and replaced it with a 2010 kawasaki z1000. Hmmm, the bike KTM were trying to make all along!

Yee haa

Having been the proud owner of a Superduke for 4 years and after 30 years of riding all sorts, Its the best bike I've ever had. The sum of its parts is fookin brilliant. Triumph can only dream of making such a bike, and I've owned a 1050 Speedtriple. So I cant wait to take the 1290 for a demo

I cant wait for this, hope it doesn't get to "watered down" when goes into production. Owned, ridden and worked on dozens of bikes in my 7 years riding to date and im still in love with my 990SM. If the claimed 180bhp is accurate this thing will be a monster. Cant see triumph adding 45+bhp to the speed triple anytime soon. Much like Trumpton i cannot wait!
