AdieR....

and the 'worst winter for a hundred years' ...apparently.It'll be a bastard if it's worse than the 1947 one.(which I didn't experience personally, but I've seen the pictures).:smile..me I've just finished tiling the fireplace, seeing as how our fire was condemned on Tuesday and I've had to order a new one and have a fresh start with the tile surround....dire selection out there.all black and white or fake beige marble...settled on slate mosaic(tiling is so much easier when you can cut shapes using scissors.....watching 'When Harry met Sally' and drinking some nice Bardolino from Lidl.Work all day tomorrow.:upset:...Lesley, try the patches...you might even get them on a script. It'll take years for you to stop wanting a fag occasionally when in company, but you'll get there.:smile....is it true they cost more than a gallon of petrol for a pack of twenty?

fffffoorty seven.

Evenin'

Spent the whole evening eating.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

It was my mum's 75th birthday (first one without my dad) and there were 7 of us around the table.  Home made food, 3 courses, all yummy.  Wonderful night full of laughter.

Dishes now all washed and put away (TTF for dishwashers)

(I stopped smoking, when they went up to £1 a pack.)
