Poll: Retro roadsters

Many manufacturers are getting into the retro market, with BMW launching ther entrant into the field this week. But retro styling isn't everyone's cup of tea. Are you a committed fan, or would you never be seen dead on one?   pollcomment

What"s not to like about retro bikes ? . I  have always run one alongside my usual  bikes , for ease of maintainance , cheap parts and you don"t need to replace the fairing every time the bike falls over ! . The main thing for my aged body is the pain factor , any distance on a sports bike & I  walk around like a letter Q  for  an hour after . My Mrs. says the rear footrests on sports bikes are also uncomfortable on long distances ,commentating it seems ,along with other items that style trumps anything else . With most riders now only venturing out on fine days , mothballing the bike over the winter , speed limits heavily policed &  the "I wanna look like Barry  Sheene" look waning - do you really need a  race replica ? .
