Only done that for the sake of money and points, but next time, if there will be one, I rather take the points and ££££££

Just attend, keep nodding to things like 'yes, I was going too fast' and 'yes, you are right and I was wrong' and 'I've learnt so much today' then walk out smiling to yourself that you have saved yourself from the points and carry on regardless and try not to get caught again. The downside to these courses is that I have heard that the money they make from them, they use to fund speed cameras, although when looking recently, I haven't found a speed camera around my way that actually had a camera in it!

Really dude? Maybe GB is different, but here in the US we have cops with hand-held, instant on radar guns hiding like snipers behind the railings of overpasses, roadside hedges, etc, with other cops in cars further down the road to pull you over. You would need a helicopter escort with look-down infrared capability, etc. to avoid all of the speed traps.

As a company, Admiral are a shower of shit. I was with them years ago and had nothing but aggravation with them. This is nothing more than them screwing their customers. As for the speed awareness courses, I'd rather listen to the party line they spout and keep my licence clean, ta very much What do points make? Pedestrians!

that aggravates me about these courses is that many are run by 'private' companies that have Chief Police Officers on the board of directors... Admiral, stooping to this level though takes away some of the point of attending these courses.
