bandit1250recall

i have a early 07 s model,was this one of the recalled ones,ive been online and its contradiction city,was it for;alternator,generator,regulator? and could this have anything to do with me being on the third battery and starter motor. cheers

If it's the same problem as I had on the gsx650F, it was a problem with a regulator overheating.  That could have caused it to melt down and suddenly stop working altogether.

As I recall, it was the same unit in a number of Suzukis that came out at around that time (mine was an '08).   Can't see why this should cause a problem with your starter-motor, though.
