Can't wipe the smile of my silly face.

My new bike(GSXR 1000K5) arrived a short while ago.Seems it's had a run on the dyno when they did the PDI.Exceeded my expectaions too,a very healthy 161BHP at the back wheel.happy days ahead in the spring.

No mate, keeping it warm in the garage  until the spring, then I'll have the timing belts done and get it up for sale, all other servicing is up to  date.

Took the gixxer out for a quick trial run this morning..................OMFG I have NEVER ridden anything that performed like this,it's way off the scale.I came home gurning like a retard. My brain mashed.185 on the clock within 10 mins of leaving the house and it didn't even feel like it was trying.incredible.Roll on next summer.

I think you mean welcome back to the world of performance at an affordable price.I had a K4 before I had the Ducati(a bike which I have loved owning these last 4 years) but I,ve wanted more speed for a while now.The K4 was very fast but this thing is in another league. The sheer grunt, smoothness and rapidiity with which it simply stomped up to 185mph as if were nothing was simply breathtaking. It truly didn't feel like it was trying.I rode the couple of miles home laughing my head off and wishing it was summer.Hoping for a short winter and looking for an excuse to bugger off to France ASAP.

I know your going to love your K9 when you finally get your hands on it.

As I said,4 very enjoyable years on the Ducati,a truly lovely bike.As reliable as any jap bike too,I didn't have a single moment of trouble with it at any point. It'll be going up for sale in the spring though and I'll be sorry to see it go.

Then the gixxer will come out and the madness will begin all over again.
