What a morning! Pallet fell on my car !!

Took a delivery of a 2m high pallet of logs, but unfortunately the whole lot fell on the bonnet of my car :-(

Not a happy bunny as it was up for sale

well that's a bugger innit...

i reckon Tina did it !?!........Would like to think you had comeback on the suppliers, but unfortunately a difficult one to prove, unless the pallet was/is of faulty construction.....

spoke to suppliers

and onus is on delivery.  The poor delivery driver was mortified, had to help him as he was so upset.

Insurers seem to think it's a right off, but I won't accept silly offers. Also the car can't be put in the drive as it wont turn so had to make sure it's still coverd to be parked on a public highway over night.  What a nuiscance, the driver asked me to help him push but I didn't have enough strength so when I said I can't manage the wait he carried on on his own when it happened.  Thankfully I hopped out of the way (or not !!)

I have  hundreds of kiln dried logs in the drive way possibly getting wet.  Not what I paid for !!

Never mind

Oh and I can split logs no bother
