thinking about building a 125 supermoto as im moving to a house with a big back yard..
i love my 125 Duke but i would like to build a sm possibly 2 stroke out of a 125 mx or something similar..
I used to own a KDX and it was rapid for its size.
Those of you who will just say pass your test well i would but i get stressed out with all the rules and it nearly put me off biking for good last time i did training..
I want to build myself a supermoto i will need to buy all the parts etc and some tools ...
what do you think of this idea...would it be road legal if it had more than 15bhp?
Would love to do this just as a project bike to work on over winter and ride in summer...
the only problem i think would be insurance??
Where would i get this insured as the insurance companies go nuts if you change your exhaust let alone build your own machine.
i was thinking about a 2 stroke crosser like a YZ 125. just for quick blasts and would still be keeping the Duke for normal road riding.
can i have your views on this. I think i would really enjoy building it from a motocross to a supermoto..
