Poll: What is most likely to make you speed less often?

Recently the Department of Transport are introducing more and more speed awareness courses as an alternative to the traditional points and a fine for drivers caught over the limit. But the effectiveness of the awareness courses over a finanicla penalty has yet to be measured. Maybe you've been on a course already, or have raked up points and or a fine in...

Stop reducing speeds

Maybe if straight open roads weren't being constantly changed from NSL to 40 & 50mph then I wouldn't be speeding.  The fuzz love these areas; as soon as the speed limit is reduced they park a mobile speed camera just over a crest or behind a bush.  Money making at it's finest.

p.s. I have zero points :-)

I agree with the majority in that realistic speed limits be in place. Another one is that speeding should be allowed when the road is clear. If its 1am in the morning and you have the roads to yourself and you go over the limit , why is it that a policeman can still give you a ticket if they radar you?

The road is completely clear , the chances of some looney walking around a dual carriageway at 1am is pretty much non-existant and you have the road to yourself so there is no danger of you crashing into any other vehicles. It makes no sense to me.
