Laverty also had the accolade of outpacing a host of MotoGP riders including the factory Ducati squad...

Sykes

Now they've got the tyre wear sorted out i'd have to make Sykes favorite for next year. Biaggi said as much when he won the title.

Agree Sykes looks good for the title next year. Loris Baz is no slouch at all and he's not even within a second of Tom!!!

Missing the point of the article...

"Laverty also had the accolade of outpacing a host of MotoGP riders including the factory Ducati squad"

Embarrassing to say the least.  Regardless of how much testing was had.  Highly developed (£) multi million Factory machinery is capable of more than the crop of riders are squeezing out of them.  in the same conditions as the WSB horses no less.  Hopefully Dorna won't dumb down the series any further to make GP sparkle that little bit more.

Still, will be a comfort to the other factory squads knowing the Dukes will be in the same position as this year.  Which is behind no-where and lost (the front) again.  They simply don't have the resource and experience of Honda or Yamaha regardless of how much money a German car company throw at it.

Sykes and Laverty are weapons.  True Grit.  Will be a great season.  Give it some lads!
