Contributory neglience if claimant already aware of pothole

If one suffers damage to ones bike from a pothole and the highway authority are liable, then I would like to know by how much a successful claim will be reduced if the claimant was already aware of the pothole which caused the damage to their bike.

Does anyone know what the guidelines are or have any links to relevant cases in England or Wales?

I have searched Google and there seem to be relevant cases, Dingley v Bromley LBC (2000) and Day v Suffolk County Council (2007) but I cannot read the cases anywhere online.

Thank you!

Pretty substantial in my view.
