Evening all - some guidance required please!

Basically I want to modify my headlights so that both the dipped and full beams come on together when I select the full beam setting.

How can I go about wiring this?

It might give me a fighting chance of seeing where I am going!

Welcome daz, what bike are you talking about?

It sounds like you have two headlights, one for dip and the other for full beam?

It`s all about the extra heat created and can the alternator cope, both headlights are switched on using heavy duty relay switches controlled/switched on by the handlebar switches:blink:.

The bike is a superbyke rmr125.

Currently if on dipped lights I can use the pass lever to illuminate both sets of light at the same time. Presumably though the alternator and heat issues would appear only after some time of running?

Thanks for the info guys!

Superbyke RMR 125 Year ?

Hi again Jerseydaz

See what you mean the head light is pathetic,if it were me(which it wouldn't be,being a Chinese bike)i would fit a pair of small spot lights wired into the main beam with two relays to compensate for the extra load.Either that or only ride it in the day light:lol: Good Luck
