Valentino Rossi has nothing to prove on Yamaha return

Valentino Rossi has nothing to prove when he makes a return to Yamaha in 2013. After a nightmare two-year spell with Ducati in which the Italian failed to get close to recording a victory in 35 appearances, the 33-year-old will make his hugely anticipated return to a factory YZR-M1 machine next season. With his career stats and reputation taking a battering in...

'No idea' springs to mind about you, bud.

I don't expect Rossi to win a title, but he'll certainly be up front, and on occassion, probably even win.

Most of all, he'll start enjoying it again, which is why he races, and the lack of it why stoner retired.

By the way, I was hoping that Stoner's retirment would end this ridiculous anti-rossi/anti-casey nonsense, but it doesn't seem the case.

One wonders then, if the stoner support was less about stoner, and more about disliking rossi.

bullshit

his comment is nonsense. even pre season interview lorenzo already attacked about divided wall was stupid move. and he said it NEXT TO ROSSI.

rossi is silence now because he know he isn't the no. 1 rider anymore. and if back insult and moaning like he used to with no result, it will backfire his stink, abuse ass.

Whoops Paul, Hammer slipped off the nail

and hit Saturn's thumb.

Deary me, it's less a dislike of Rossi and more a dislike of his rabid, myopic, two planks (is this you two?) thick 'fans'.

But thats not really true though is it nobstroke

You hate VR because of his success and because he destroyed your boy in 08 and 09, and you hate his fans because they take great delight in reminding you of this. All in all you are a bitter remnant of a human being, and we all see it.

Same old bullshit

Same sad wankers blah'ing on about their bitter little opinions. Grow up FFS you numptys. This story, like most MCN stories is just a re-quote of the MotoGP website. Does Rossi have something to prove? Well obviously, or he would have retired already. Can he win? My money says he probably can, will he win? Only time will tell. Love him or hate him, he's still the benchmark of the modern era and if you don't respect that then you are probably not really a motorcycle racing fan are you......

Well said,it's a damn shame we never saw stoner on the factory Honda on Rossi on the factory yam battli g it out to silence us all I that respect. I'd say there is only one Italian who has something to prove and it ain't valentino, dovi is the next Hayden but I'm afraid with no cigar.
