Proper fun machine there Preunit

More fun for more of the time with that beaut.

I can never understand someone buying a bike that good, spending on the extras/accessories and then selling after such low miles?

Not had chance to get used to it & enjoy riding it, every bike is so different, takes me a while, especially when changing to a totally different style of bike.

Everybody to their own though.

this guy bought the bike from new, from the same dealer as i got it, seems to buy bikes on a whim, swopped this in 4 a Tuono V4, changes bikes once or twice a year i'm informed

The Tuono V4 is indeed insane tho.

I was

going to get one, HOWEVER one thing about them really got me.

Apparently you have to regularly strip and clean the brakes as they're effectively racing ones with no proper sealing. If you let them get crap in, they can seize. Not the stick a bit seize but the lock on and throw you down the road seize.

I don't have the technical ability or time to strip and clean them regularly so that put me off completely. I ride every day so I want something that'll go and go until service.

EDIT: That aside, mental machine. I really wish I could have one. They're just mental on every level and I'm stuck with a lovely sensible BMW. Sob.
