Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner clash over Laguna ’08 again

Long running tension and animosity between Valentino Rossi and Casey Stoner is showing no sign of letting up, despite the Australian’s retirement from MotoGP at the end of the season. The trigger for another clash has once again been the controversial and famous clash between the pair at Laguna Seca in 2008. In an interview with Dainese’s Legends magazine, Ducati flop Rossi...

Casey owned the 800 era bud. Caseys won more races head to head against Vale. Rossi quit on his dream of making the Duke a winner. Stop drinking, STFU and go to bed bud :)

Dunno why people continue to argue over who is better, someone interviews anyone and they give a response and suddenly their comments are taken out of context and hated on. Rossi simply said what was fact to a journalist and in a head to head on equal bikes we'll never know what will happen. However when Stoner was winning on the Ducati in 2007 and 2008 that bike was a different beast compared to the rest until they all caught up, especially engine wise. Just a shame Stoner left when Rossi returned to Yamaha, would have been amazing to see Stoner, Lorenzo and Rossi on competitive machines racing each other. Stoner hasn't left because Rossi has joined Yamaha, that is pretty obvious, however implying Rossi is scared? If he was scared of trying to prove himself again he would have stayed with the failing Ducati like Hayden has, instead of signing up against the best rider right now, Lorenzo.

For quits

"At least Rossi has proved he isnt a quitter"

We all know the circumstances he quit Yamaha, and he quit Ducati after only two years.  Stoner lasted twice as long.

He also moaned about and blamed his bike much more than Casey ever did.  And he's still moaning!!!

The only Rossi fans left are the retards who refuse to accept what the last two years have shown.  He's a good rider who dominated by having superior equipment in an era of weak opposition.  And he's a moaning quitter.

Out of his seven years in MotoGP, Stoner spent four years at Ducati and one as a rookie in a rookie satellite team and he still owned Rossi.

That's why he's (officially) a legend of the sport.

Rossi has large shares in Daineses he would say anything to make a quick cheap buck. Time to move on Rossi taking cheap shots at people to make headlines because your racing doesn't make headlines is pretty childish

Wonder how long it will be until Casey Moaner is moaning in the V8 paddock. If he was upset with Rossi shoving it up the inside of him at Laguna, then what’s is he going to do when a big V8 gives him a love tap from behind

At least Rossi injects FUN into MotoGP, just as Marco did god rest his sole - Was lucky if the moaning twat cracked a smile
