As someone who..

Has toiled for many years on my push bike over the gruelling hills of the Pennines and Dales, I say bring it on. Let them ride up The Coal Road in the face of a relentless gale; grind up Rosedale Bank in granny gear; and squint through horizontal rain on Holme Moss. Yorkshire: not for wimps. They'll not be topping up their tans when they get t'top of Yorkshire's climbs.
