For what its worth. According to Soup's and Furusawa, the engineering gurus and technical people at Yamaha Racing did NOT want Rossi nor Burgess back. The marketing suits won the battle however.

Any bets Ben Spies has a much better year 2013 than 2012 ?

The problem is that Rossi & burgess told Ducati what was wrong with the bike so prezziosi turned to his computer & looked at the data & did nothing so that's why it didn't w irk out, that's why prezziosi was fired, with a bit of German efficiency & technical know how & money will turn the bike round, as for dovisioso being a development rider, I'm not so sure about that, they had the best rider & tech guy to sort it out & Ducati let them go.rossis patience finally ran out when he threw the Ducati up the road at Laguna seca

Yes but

I understand Jerry Burgess' complaints and everything. But he doesn't explain how Stoner won so many rances and a championship.
