HRC boss content with 2012 despite title defeat

Honda boss Shuhei Nakamoto has said he is happy with the performance of the official HRC factory MotoGP squad in 2012, despite losing the world title to Yamaha and Jorge Lorenzo. After dominating the final 800cc world championship in 2011 when Casey Stoner won 10 races, the smart money was on HRC being the factory to beat in the new 1000cc...

Oh dear Saturn

you seem to have entangled yourself in your own rings again, or you have a very poor grasp of string theory.

If Stoner's factory career was a yo-yo he was on one mighty short string.

Rossi on the other hand in yo-yo parlance has been 'walking the dog' for the past two years. You know the yo-yo all the way to the bottom on a long string and spinning helplessly all by itself along the floor.

My dear old mate Nostro

You must have rose-tinted glasses and have an obsession for ice-cream.   I think we all realise Rossi's dilemma but he'll still spring a few surprises (for some that is) before he finally bows out.

Nostro - a properly executed 'walk the dog' eventually returns to the top! Though in all honesty I can't see Rossi challenging for championships anymore but I still think he may be able to give the young guys a run for their money on occasion.

Jorge is Dorna's man

If Dorna hadn't meddling with the rules Jorge Lorenzo would have never become Champion. Oh well, at least Vale will beat him next year!
