Look out for this Tw@t....

Sorry to use this medium but thought I should bring this to your
attention. This incident happened just outside of Southmead Hospital.
The taxi driver had parked across the junction to drop off his fare.
When challenged by the female biker (a close friend of ours) you will
see his reaction. Yes, she did call him a "short assed tt" after he
refused to move his car until he was ready.

Unfortunately the Police decided a caution was appropriate without
reviewing the CCTV footage. He claimed he didnt realise it was
female, therefore - it must be alright to do this to male!!!!!!
Complaints to the local licencing authority have also resulted in no
action being taken.

Please be aware in case you come across the same individual

footage

In the cctv footage, there is a case of assault, why haven't the police arrested the taxi driver?

There

is no evidence that'll stand up in court for speeding. The guy with the iron bar should be done for several offences including dangerous driving,  carrying an offensive weapon and assault (even if only on the grounds of reasonable apprehension of harm).

EDIT: I'd have done the same as you, except whilst my training is similar to yours, my self control is not.

control

I had to really control my aggression as I am sorry but this tit nearly came close to getting very seriously injured and I would have arrested him as well.  the police took over an hour and a half to come and the station is about 7 miles away...say no more.  Wife and I are looking around and house being valued in new year..

well done for

the restraint beacs, as without doubt you'd have been on the wrong end of some old fart, do-gooding magistrate......don't think it matter where you live these days though.  Recently moved from what I thought was a right sh*t hole, only to find have moved to a cess-pit !!...fortunately only renting, so problem no too expensive to resolve..........

simple

take him to civil court..its easy...£35..fee....get damages.....the police decision does not apply or interfere as he wouldnt have been given a cert.of release, granted by a court and rarely requested.!

I'm still baffled. Is this a close friend of yours,or do you not know the woman?

Apart from that,it's always interesting to see a scuffle. Nothing new in this one either,no matter which way it went!

,,,

I hope he gets whats coming to him, ie a good kicking! If not, then where it hurts him most, the pocket! He shouldn't be on the road!
I'm a little confused though. In the first post you said the victim biker was a close friend of yours, second post, you don't know her?
Either way, I hope justice will prevail and he's taken off the road before he does that sort of thing again.

right I'm back , so saw this

sllightly confused about the post, not that it matters, (close friend) (don't know this woman)

Anyhow, with cctv there should be enough to a private prosecution. Reg plates taken to claim off his insurance.

If he's a taxi driver he will have his number as well.

Quite easy to get compo for repairs etc.

police don't usually attend unless an ambulance is called. It looks quite straight forward claim wise.

Personally he would of needed an ambulance and the ICU unit :smile
