It’s the Valencia MotoGP test in November, 2010 and the wave of optimism sweeping through Ducati’s factory garage is so powerful it could almost knock you off your feet. Ducati have just seen two fruitless years experimenting with a micro organism run on sunlight.

Made me chuckle

Would that be the same ali beam chassis

That Rossi pleaded for but ultimately according to him felt no different to the CF Wosi? Rossi got what he wanted including more compliant tyres, but ultimately his riding just wasn't up to the level required.

Shit hot fave.

Beaten by a serial loser.

The longest serving HRC loser in history..who if Casey had stayed would have been out of a job.

Sad..but true.

wosi as i said

stoner didn`t ask for a carbon chassis....he was given one to test!!!.....he said yes he liked it and would use it.....then hay presto they change the fukin tyres yet again so the carbon bike won`t work with the new tyre.....just like this year when they change it again, but for good measure slap on a weight penalty after the bikes were designed and finished just to fuk everything up yet again!!!!

"The fact Stoner pleaded for a bike that more than halved his win rate"

Nope... he went from 6 wins & 280 points in 2008 on the trellis to 4 wins & 220 points in 2009 on the CF (but was out for 3 rounds)... that's a 60 point difference despite being sick for several races & actually off for 3... the next year he had less wins but scored more points. In fact his win rate almost halved from 2007 to 2008 (367 to 280 points!) on the trellis... that's a massive drop so something clearly needed to be done... & of course he'd started crashing on the trellis with 2 in 2008 as he tried to keep up with his rivals... no race crashes on the CF in 2009! Spin that to suit your argument.
