BMW F800S/ST

I'm currently in the market for a bike at the right price and one has come up  so I was doing a bit of research on it. It's a 2007 BMW F800ST and I couldn't find a list on the internet(in forums reviews etc) of just common faults. I know you will probably be asking why I want to know that its so that I can if they have been sorted and if not find out how much it will cost to have the problem rectified (assuming it's past its warranty period) by a dealer then subtract it from the asking price. Also does anyone know if you can buy warranty from BMW ?

Thanks Paul

So am I right?

You want to offer a reduced price based on fixing a fault or faults which the bike doesn't have and might never develop?

Good luck with that!!

The rear wheel bearing problems

have been sorted, not heard of the piston slap ones.  They'll be a bit cheaper now there's a new model out.  Very economical, everyone I talk to who has one loves it.

BMW were great bikes.....

When they were made from melted down Tiger tanks.

Unfortunately they ran out of them, 10 years ago.:upset:

Hey

don't joke. I'd actually need the stool to get on one of them.

Wouldn't get off until I ran out of fuel or, more likely, crashed it.
