STREET TRIPLE 2013

I have recently taken another look at the latest Street Triple R in my local Triumph dealers, having given it the once over at Motorcycle Live in November.

I have now come to the conclusion, that I don"t find it very attractive as regards overall appearance. I"m sure that performance-wise, it remains as always, up there with the best, but, I can"t say that I am impressed with the colour schemes, as they look a bit "drab" to me.
I would also like to know who had the idea of tack welding on to the exhaust can, what can only be described as a piece of "tin plate" . Surely a bike costing over 7 grand new, should at least be finished off in a more "eye pleasing" manner, sorry Triumph but I wont be rushing out to buy one.

sees it the way I do. I don't care what it does to the gallon. I do 134 miles before the fuel light comes on. It costs about £17 to fill up. I know it has a computer hiding somewhere that will tell me exactly what it's using but I can't be bothered to find out.

My Striple is loads of fun and fast enough that I can keep up with the people I ride out with. I could beat some of them if I wanted to, but that's not important to me either. We all know a good rider on a slower bike will still end up front in front of a quck bike with a poor rider.

I'm glad I got one while they still had the nice stumpy little pipes tucked up high. That new pipe doesn't look so nice. The bike might go better than the one I have. I may try one and see, just out of interest. I'm more interested in being known as a good rider rather than a fast one so I'm sure others will give a different view on both the old and new Striples and what they can do.

BB41, there must be something.....

you're not doing right, or not doing at all, hmm. Think I'll shut up there.

I often wonder when I see pretty girls carrying bags of shopping to the bus stop.

Then I see other young ladies leaving the supermarket in flash sports cars.

Duck for cover now:wacko:

Street triple latest

I also had one for a short time, and preferred the looks of that one to the new ones.

As I said previously, I was quite disappointed when I saw the latest model, it really didn"t do anything for me.:doubt:

Everybody to their own opinion...

If it was the stripple, I prefer the new model with the low can.

Not saying the can looks good, just prefer that style and the lower c of g it gives.
