what British rider has done that well this year, Shakey doesn't count cos its only a domestic championship, seems to have to be on the global stage for Motorcycling to qualify........Barry Sheene got an MBE as did Carl Fogarty.......maybe if Cal wins a few races next year ?......:unsure:

Received an MBE and an OBE. The MBE for services to the sport and OBE for charity work.

 

Or maybe it was the other way around?
