Sounds like a low battery,have you tried jump leads from a donor battery or a small car battery with its engine turned OFF.?

If not what`s the battery voltage reading?

I reckon that your starter motor is the problem.  Depending on the year your bike may be fitted with a kick-start - if so, does the engine turn over when you kick it?

You could have said that about the trying the car battery,

Are your connections ok and don`t forget the earth?

Have you by-passed the relay switch by bridging the posts and seeing if the starter motor turns?

Go on what else have tried?

Thanx for your help. bike is now running.the fault was a broken coil spring on the starter motor brush.now busy with rebuild.
